Spanning more than 200 years, this program samples some of the most colorful music ever written, from Beethoven’s early essay for three distinct treble voices, to Frenchman Saint-Saens’ playful take on the Italian “Tarantella” dance, to Mario
Davidovsky’s evocative and luminescent Septet, and ending with one of the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire – Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet.”
