Spanning more than 200 years, this program samples some of the most colorful music ever written, from Beethoven’s early essay for three distinct treble voices, to Frenchman Saint-Saens’ playful take on the Italian “Tarantella” dance, to Mario

Davidovsky’s evocative and luminescent Septet, and ending with one of the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet.”
